Well, as far as my relationship with social networking sites go, I use them. I have Facebook and Twitter accounts. While I would say that I check Facebook on a daily basis, I log into Twitter maybe once a month. If Spotify is considered a social network, I use that too - although I do not really use social aspects of it, I just listen to free music.
I'd say that Facebook is the social network that I hold in the highest regard. I use it the most and feel that I get pretty good use out of it. I am not the type to compulsively update my status to inform others on the web about things going on in my life or about the kind of sandwich I'm currently eating. However, I do use it to keep in touch with friends that are far away as well as promoting the band I play in and reaching out to various people for various exchanges of ideas or business that may be taking place. I think it is a very useful tool for communicating with people.
